This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and disclose the personal information of users of the ICU Survival Guide ("Site") at icusurvival.com.

Access information: The invite code you used to register, and the date and time of your registration.

Technical information: Your IP address and browser information collected automatically when you access the Site, for the purposes of security and access control (including enforcement of our network-level bypass policies for authorised institutions).

Session data: When you sign in, we set an authentication session cookie (__session) to keep you logged in. This cookie is stored in your browser and expires after 30 days or when you sign out. We also store a temporary state token during the sign-in process, which is deleted after authentication completes.

We do not collect sensitive health information, financial information, or any patient data through this Site.

3. How do we use your information?

We use your personal information to:

– Verify your identity and authorise your access to the Site.

– Maintain a record of authorised users for security and audit purposes.

– Comply with our legal obligations.

We will not use your information for marketing purposes or share it with third parties for commercial gain. 4. Third-Party Authentication (Google / Apple)

The Site uses Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In to authenticate users. When you log in, we receive your name and email address from the respective identity provider. We do not receive your passwords or payment information.

Your use of Google Sign-In is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. Your use of Apple Sign-In is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. How do we protect your information?

We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, or modification. Access to user data is restricted to authorised administrators only. Our authentication infrastructure is operated through Cloudflare, which maintains industry-standard security certifications.

6. Data Retention

We will retain your registration information for the period your access to the Site remains active, plus a reasonable period thereafter for audit and security purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us as outlined in section 10.

7. Accessing and Correcting Your Information

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time by contacting us using the details in section 10. We will respond as soon as reasonably practicable and will generally not charge you for access requests.

8. Complaints

If you believe we have breached the APPs or other applicable privacy laws, you may contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within 5 business days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Changes take effect from the date of posting.
